To continue our summer countdown we had a paper airplane flying contest! Each student made their own airplane and we flew them outside while enjoying the beautiful weather!

Summer Countdown

I can’t believe the school year is almost over! It has been such a wonderful year! We are celebrating the last 10 days together with a balloon countdown. Each day we will pop a balloon and do the fun activity inside of it! Today we blew bubbles outside at the end of the school day!

Global Wildlife

Our last field trip of the year was at the Global Wildlife Museum and I believe we saved the best for last! The kids were able to feed and pet all different kinds of animals. We saw deer, camels, bulls, llamas, zebras, giraffes (from a distance J ) and many more! It was a great way to end our unit on animals.

National Day of Prayer

Today is the National Day of Prayer and we were blessed to celebrate together with a beautiful chapel service. The first grade class has been practicing the Lord’s Prayer and Jesus Loves Me for quite some time and did a wonderful job performing it for everyone.
