Our 5 Senses

This week we are talking about our 5 senses. Today we focused on the sense of sound. We listened to indoor and outdoor sounds and discussed how they were alike and different. Here we are listening to various outdoor sounds.

Bee of the Week: Kate!

Our Bee of the Week is Kate! Some of her favorite things are yellow apples, the color blue, playing baseball and Curious George. Kate and Buzzy spent the weekend together doing lots of cool things together. They went swimming in her backyard and went to the dog park with her two dogs! We can't wait to learn more about Kate this week!

- Please make sure you are logging into Reflex Math at least 3 times per week. Children must play until they get to the green light.
- Make sure your child is reading 10 minutes a night. Please sign and record on the nightly reader calendar.

Pajama Day

Wake up Wednesday was a success! Going to school in our pjs was so comfy and everyone got to enjoy a free sinky feet coupon! We decided that every day should be pajama day!








Bee of the Week: Aubree!

Our special student this week is Aubree! Some of her favorite things are apples, the color red, jumping on the trampoline and reading Dr. Seuss books. Aubree and Buzzy spent the weekend together doing lots of cool things. They went to the zoo and had a special meal at Burger King! We love learning new things about Aubree everyday! 

Hat Day/ Bible Buddies

To continue our homecoming festivities, we celebrated hat day on Tuesday! My class had some awesome hats! We also had our middle school bible buddies visit for the first time this year. We enjoyed getting to know them and are excited for them to return!

Silly Putty

We had some special visitors from LSU come and do a fun experiment with the class. They mixed water, borax and glue to make silly putty. The kids were so impressed and loved playing with the putty! I apologize for the mess your child may make with the putty at home :).
